Join the Uplifting Single Mothers Program!

The Uplifting Single Mothers Program is a safe, supportive community program for single mothers in Brampton, designed to empower, connect, and uplift mothers through peer support, practical learning, and community resources.

Participants meet regularly in peer support circles, creating space to share experiences, build meaningful connections, and support one another in a culturally affirming environment. Alongside peer connection, the program offers hands-on workshops focused on real-life needs with guest facilitators.

The program is delivered through three core support areas (cohorts):

  1. Wellness Services and Supports – mental health, stress management, self-care, and emotional wellbeing
  2. Family Stability Support – housing, childcare, food access, parenting, and family systems navigation
  3. Economic Empowerment – financial literacy, employment readiness, and digital skills

On-site childcare (18 months and older) and refreshments are provided to reduce barriers to participation.
