Resilient Families
The Uplfting Single Mothers Project—also known as Empowered Mothers, Resilient Families—is a free, in-person program supporting single mothers in Brampton through three key streams:
✨ Join the Uplifting Single Mothers Program! ✨
Economic Empowerment – digital skills training, career mentorship, and financial literacy
Family Stability Support – childcare network, housing navigation, and nutrition
Wellbeing Services – counseling, self-care, and peer support
The program will run weekly on Thursdays at the Vision of Hope Resource Centre (139 Devon Rd, Brampton, ON) from 5:30 – 7:00 PM, starting October 30, 2025, with food and childcare provided each evening.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Learn practical financial and career skills
Build community connections and support networks
Strengthen family stability and wellbeing
