Black Queens Girls Club

Black Queens Girls Club is more than just fun activities—it’s a powerful journey of empowerment, growth, and connection. Through engaging workshops and a supportive community, we equip Black girls with the knowledge, skills, and encouragement they need to thrive.

Join the Black Queens Girls Club!

The Black Queens Girls Club is a weekly, empowering program designed to support Black girls in building confidence, connection, and a strong sense of self. The program runs every Wednesday from 5:00–7:00 PM and provides a safe, culturally affirming space for girls to learn, grow, and thrive in community.

Through engaging and age-appropriate activities, participants explore:

● Creative arts and self-expression
● Peer mentorship and sisterhood
● Black Heritage and Culture
● Healthy relationships and social skills
● Mental health, self-care, and emotional well-being
● Identity exploration, confidence-building, and leadership development
● Occasional community trips and experiential learning opportunities

Registration is open for participants and volunteers. Families and youth are encouraged to apply
at any time.

Volunteer and Leadership Opportunities (Ages 14+)

Girls ages 14 and up, including high school and post-secondary students, are encouraged to participate as youth leaders and volunteers. These opportunities are designed to build leadership skills, confidence, and real-world experience while giving back to the community.

Volunteers will be eligible to receive volunteer hours, resume references, mentorship and skill-building experience relevant to post-secondary programs, scholarships, and future employment.
