At Vision of Hope Resource Centre, we’re committed to building safe, empowering spaces for children — and we’re proud to introduce a FREE After School Support Program to Black families.
Launching Monday, April 28th, 2025, this free after-school support program is designed specifically for Black children in Grades 1–8 (ages 6–14). It provides a supportive environment to complete homework, receive mentorship, and engage in positive after-school activities.
Why After School Support?
After-school hours are pivotal for youth development, and our program is designed to make the most of this time. By blending academic support, social connection, and community care, we create a space where students can truly thrive. It’s a place where they can come as they are, feel welcomed, and receive the help they need with their schoolwork in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Whether your child needs extra support staying on track with homework or just a space to feel supported, and connect with peers/adults this program is here to meet their needs .
